Start with the treatment surface
Measure the usable length and width of the bed or table, then allow enough material to cover the surface and tuck at the sides. A sheet that is too narrow can shift during a service; one that is much larger than needed can be awkward to handle.
If your business uses treatment beds, facial tables, and chairs, record their sizes separately. Do not assume that one sheet size will suit every station.
Compare material and stated specifications
Check the product description for fabric type, dimensions, GSM when stated, and pack quantity. GSM is one comparison point; it does not by itself prove that a sheet is waterproof, medical grade, or suitable for every treatment.
Match the material to the way your team works. For services involving oils or creams, check the supplier’s product details and test a sample in your normal setup before standardising a large purchase.
Plan the changeover and cleaning routine
Choose a pack that staff can open and store cleanly near the treatment area. A simple routine is to remove the used sheet, clean the bed according to the equipment and cleaning-product instructions, and place a fresh sheet before the next client.
A single-use cover supports a consistent changeover, but it does not replace cleaning the treatment surface or following your business’s hygiene procedures.
Compare cost per service, not only pack price
Use this simple calculation: pack price divided by the number of usable sheets in the pack. Then compare that figure with the sheet size and material you actually need. A low pack price may not be the best value if the quantity or dimensions do not suit your stations.
- Confirm the number of sheets in each pack.
- Check dimensions against the bed or table.
- Include delivery charges when comparing suppliers.
- Test one pack before committing to a larger stock order.
Keep a small replenishment record
Track how many sheets each station uses in a typical week and how long a new order takes to arrive. Set a reorder point that gives your team time to replenish stock without filling limited storage with excess packs. Review the number after seasonal or service-volume changes.
